Congratulations on anthology. I define a real writer as a writer who is in earnest and has written to the degree of achieving his or her own voice. Ergot, thou art a real writer.

Good work on second round. There’s another paying ezine called Allegory at which I must hold the record for unpublished honorable mention. Five. There I am Queen of Good But Not Good Enough. I still pretend that rejections don’t affect my mood, but they do. Still, this year I have 14 acceptances to 11 reasons to cry, so I shouldn’t kvetch, yet I do. Your news cheers me; I like your stuff, so I must still have some sense.
